Inside Sales Manager

As a Inside Sales Manager, you will be responsible for topline revenue growth by introducing new opportunities to the company. The candidate will have best practices in account planning, direct marketing, transactional selling and personal communications in a fast paced, customer service sales organization. Accordingly, this person must be a self-starter, goal and achievement driven, team oriented and self-motivated. The candidate’s track record in his/her career and in outside interests must demonstrate a pattern of setting and achieving high personal standards of performance in all areas.

Responsibilities:

  • Focus on selling CMTS core modes, and services
  • Identify and generate new sales opportunities through analysis and discovery
  • Participate in face-to-face meetings to present proposals, offer solutions, and close business
  • Collaborate internally with your team on pricing strategy and account implementation plans
  • Review sales activities and prospective customers with management
  • Achieve monthly and quarterly revenue, load count, call count and profit objectives
  • Create new accounts and clients each month by utilizing leads provided by the company and through referrals
  • Leverage all services for exclusivity with clients
  • Communicate effectively with customers, partner vendors and team members
  • Utilize a CRM and implement a call cycle
  • Coordinate and collaborate with other business development personnel to achieve superior service standards, support customer buying trends
  • Ability to complete RFP submissions. Establish, confirm and follow up on rates with the customer
  • Manage customer credit
  • Make face to face customer visits including potential evening and weekend customer entertainment as appropriate

 

Qualifications:

  • Superior interpersonal and communication skills
  • 2-4 years transportation or logistics experience preferred
  • Bachelor’s degree is preferred but not required
  • Growth and Results oriented; desire to be in leadership/management position
  • Ability to work in a team environment, while also delivering independent results
  • Strong ability to persuade, motivate, and influence others
  • Excellent systems knowledge: Microsoft Office Suite programs and internet
  • Ability to multi task in fast paced environment
  • Willingness to travel as needed
  • Driven, enthusiastic, persistent, confident, and highly motivated
